Welcome to the website of Goring Gap Local History Society. Here you will find out about the activities of the Society and how to join, along with information on the history of the area.

Our next meeting will be on Monday 15 December, when we will have mince pies and wine after the meeting, so do stay and get to know some of the other members. The talk will be about The Maiwand Lion in Forbury Gardens, a landmark we are all familiar with, but probably few of us know anything of its history. All talks take place in Goring Village Hall.
